Background

Creative Time in New York City is seeking to include Wellness Workshops in 2024 to support its artists and greater community. With a recently opened gathering space for art and political engagement, CTHQ, Creative Time has been organizing community-centered gatherings to sustain work in direct service to art and social justice practitioners from the local to the global.

This year’s wellness programming will be curated by our team and will invite a diverse group of traditional healers, wellness practitioners, and holistic health practitioners to offer their modality for the sustained health and wellness of Creative Time’s artists and the greater community between March 2024 to May 2024.

Each workshop will be led and facilitated by a different practitioner to offer a wide variety of wellness options for the community to engage with. These workshops will provide an experience of – and an introduction to – the practitioner’s modality so participants can apply these methods to their everyday health and wellness.

About Creative Time CTHQ

CTHQ is a gathering space supporting artists working at the intersection of art and politics as they continue to plot, orchestrate, and recharge from cultural, political, and social organizing work. Located in the Lower East Side, this space will be intentionally curated to include support for the overall wellness of the community.
